ACA MN Intergroup is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to the support of Minnesota-based ACA groups and the recovery of individuals affected by growing up in an alcoholic or otherwise dysfunctional family. We are supported solely by the contributions of ACA groups and individual members in Minnesota. ACA MN Intergroup is registered with the ACA World Service Organization (as intergroup #56).
Our mission is to support ACA groups and recovering individuals who suffer from the effects of growing up in alcoholic or dysfunctional environments by helping members build relationships within the ACA recovery community and encouraging the significance of play and fun in everyone’s life.
You are invited to send a representative from your group to intergroup meetings. Each individual aca group gets one vote on any matters brought to a vote.
All ACA members are invited to fulfill their 12th step service work by volunteering with intergroup whether they are acting as a group rep or as a regular member. your help is greatly appreciated!
At any of the monthly business meetings, join us as we discuss available service opportunities, and bring your ideas for new ones. If you’d like to get involved, we’ll talk about the role and suggested responsibilities, and the support that will be available to you. For example, these opportunities could include administrative support such as helping to answer emails, or working on a committee specific to a given topic, such as party planning.
