7th Tradition

“Every ACA group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions.”

Minnesota Intergroup is taking mail-in 7th tradition contributions, and we are able to accept digital payments again!

Online 7th Tradition

To donate online, we are able to accept payments via Zelle. This is a popular app through most major banks. To learn how to access and use Zelle, you can visit their help page: https://www.zellepay.com/how-it-works

Our account is accessible with a blank phone number and the email address: minnesotaaca@gmail.com

Mail-in Donations

Please make sure to make out checks to Minnesota ACA Intergroup, as well as add your ACA Meeting number (e.g. MN123) in the note area so your meeting can be noted for the donation. Your group’s 7th tradition collection can be mailed to:

Minnesota ACA Intergroup
c/o Cavalier Club
7179 S Washington Ave
Edina, MN 55439

Our ACA guidelines state that Seventh Tradition donations should be sent to Intergroup and the World Service Organization monthly or quarterly. The fund flow model of ACA is based on a 60/ 40 disbursement. After the group meets its monthly expenses and sets aside money for a prudent reserve, 60 percent of what is left over is usually sent to the local Intergroup and 40 percent is sent to WSO. A prudent reserve usually is the amount that equals two month’s worth of meeting expenses.
